Service Description

We shall start our tour at 8 AM and will drive across the Armageddon Valley. We shall continue further to the Far North of Israel, driving by the Hula Natural Reserve and through Kiryat Shmona – the most Northern Town of Israel. From here we shall continue climbing the Golan Heights and, first, shall cross the Jordan River. Finally, we shall make our first stop at Banias National Park. Banias was believed to be a Birthplace of the Greek God Pan (the same one, who gave a name to "Panics") and a gateway to the Underground World – Hades. But also Banias is the Ancient Caesarea Philippi, where Jesus disclosed His nature to the Apostles for the first time. Here you will take a short walk through the ancient town and enjoy the beautiful views of the rivers and brooks making the source of the Jordan River. From Banias we shall continue driving up the Golan Heights. We shall stop at the Ram Volcanic Lake. Here you will enjoy beautiful views of Hermon Mountain and can also have a light lunch of the traditional Druze food, at your own. We shall continue in the direction of the Syrian Border and will drive up the Bental Mount. The top of his extinguished ancient volcano was used as an advance fortification by the IDF during the years of the conflict with Syria. Today you can enjoy here the breathtaking views of the whole of the Golan Heights, while looking deep into Syria. Our next stop will be at the Ancient Katzrin. Today a modern town, some 15 hundred years ago Katzrin was a prospering Jewish village. Here we shall be able to pick into the daily life of the Talmudic times. If time permits, our next stop will be at Umm El Kantir Ancient Synagogue, also dating Talmudic Times. This is one of the best preserved synagogues at the Golan Heights, and also one of the most beautiful sites. From here we shall start our long drive back to Tel Aviv, to your hotel.
