TOUR ITINERARY

 

Day 1: Arrival in Israel and transfer to Tel Aviv Hotel
 

​Day 2: Modern Tel Aviv and Old Jaffa - Two World Heritage Sites in one City

​ Enjoy Old Jaffa, built over 3,500 years ago. Visit Jaffa Port – the oldest in Asia, and a few of the most interesting art galleries

  • Walk through the Carmel Market – one of the most interesting spots in the City

  • Walk along the Rothschild Boulevard – the Heart of the White City, Tel Aviv, and drive through the beautiful streets of Modern Tel Aviv

  • Visit Tel Aviv Port – one of the most popular sites in Modern Tel Aviv

  • Enjoy the free evening in this fascinating city

  

Day 3: Haifa, Akko, and Caesarea along the Coastline - the World Heritage Sites 

  • Visit Roman and Crusades Caesarea to see the Roman Theater and Aqueduct, Hippodrome, and Herod Palace. Enjoy the views of the Citadel and Herod's Port, once the biggest in the World

  • Continue to Haifa, the Northern Capital of Israel. Take breathtaking views from the top of Carmel Mount. Walk through the World Famous Baha'i Gardens and visit the Golden Shrine

  • Drive to Akko, once the capital of the Crusades Kingdom and the most important city of the Whole Christian World. Visit the underground Knights' Halls- a unique masterpiece of Medieval Architecture. Visit the Arab Market and walk through the secret Templars' Tunnel

  • Spend another night in Tel Aviv

  

Day 4: ​Beit Shearim, Tzipori, and Safed - Ancient Jewish Tradition in Galilee

  • Leave Tel Aviv and drive to the North of Israel, crossing the Carmel mountains to our first stop at Beit Shearim

  • Visit Beit Shearim, the most famous Jewish Necropolis dating to the 2nd Century CE. This recently excavated World Heritage Site provides a unique insight into the Jewish traditions and culture after the destruction of the Temple. Visit the tomb of Rabbi Yehuda Hanasi

  • Continue to visit another marvelous Jewish city of Tzipori, the hometown of the Rabbi Yehuda Hanasi. Walk through this beautifully preserved historical city and stop at several places to enjoy its astounding mosaics most beautiful views of Galilee

  • Continue to Safed – the City of Kabbalah. Visit several ancient synagogues dating XVI Century and also enjoy the beautiful Artistic Quarter of the city

  • Drive to Tiberias and enjoy your free evening at the shores of the Sea of Galilee

  • Spend a night at Tiberias

  

Day 5: Journey back in Time in Jezreel Valley - Megiddo, Ein Harod, Gilboa Mountains and Beit Alfa Synagogue

  • Start the day by visiting Megiddo World Heritage city, whose history dates back  4,000 years

  • Marvel at the fascinating views of the Jezreel Valley and drive to visit Ein Harod Natural Reserve. Here we shall make a short walk to enjoy the famous Ein Harod Spring, a Biblical place where Gideon chose his great 300 warriors

  • Continue driving  along the valley and up the Gilboa Mountains to enjoy the fascinating views

  • Visit the famous Beit Alfa Synagogue to enjoy its famous naïve and beautiful mosaics, dated 6th century CE

  • Continue driving along the Jordan Valley to enjoy the Biblical scenery on the way

  • Arrive at your Jerusalem hotel

  

Day 6: Step Back in Time in Jerusalem - the Heart of the Jewish Faith, History, and Modern Life

  • Start your day in the Old City of Jerusalem. Visit the King David Tomb at Mount Zion

  • Walk through the Jewish Neighborhood to enjoy its different parts and also visit the famous Hurva or "Destroyed Synagogue."

  • Enjoy the Roman street Cardo and marvel at the "Wide Wall" of Jerusalem, dating back 2800 years

  • Descent to visit the Western Wall, the most important place in the World for the whole Jewish Nation

  • Further take a drive to visit Machane Yehuda Market – the biggest and most interesting in the whole country

  • Drive through Modern Jerusalem to enjoy its bustling life

  • Visit to Yad Vashem – the Jewish Holocaust Museum

  • Drive to your Jerusalem hotel

 

 Day 7: Judean Desert and the Dead Sea - Along the Judean Desert to Masada and the Dead Sea Resort

  • Start the day with driving across the Judea Desert to the Dead Sea - the lowest place on the Globe

  • Continue driving along the Dead Sea shore to Masada, enjoying the breathtaking and unique views

  • Visit Masada Fortress – the World Heritage Site and one of the most visited places in Israel. Enjoy here the fascinating views and learn the absolutely astounding history of this fascinating place

  • Drive to the Dead Sea Resort to enjoy splashing and swimming in the Dead Sea, which is rightfully considered once in a life experience

  • Continue back to Jerusalem and drive up the Mount of Olives to say Farewell to Jerusalem from its top

  • Spend your last night in Jerusalem

 

 Day 8: Jerusalem Underground 

  • ​Descent to visit the Western Wall Tunnels

  • Continue to the City of David to descend and to see its underground miracles

  • Continue to the Davidson Archeological Park and immerse yourself under the ground to see the life of the Byzantine Jerusalem

  • Drive to your Jerusalem hotel

Day 9: Transfer from Jerusalem to Ben Gurion Airport, Farewell, and Departure
