Service Description

Our first stop on the route is at Haifa. This over 3000 year old city was once a home for the Prophet Elijah, well remembered due to his life-long fight against the paganism. Present-day Haifa is a great mixture of religions, languages, and unforgettable views. See some of the most outstanding sites of this city unique in its beauty. Your first stop will be at the top of Carmel Mount, where the magnificent view of the whole city will evolve under your feet. Then go to the Baha’i Gardens, another UNESCO World Heritage site. These gardens are the symbol of the Baha’i Faith, the youngest of the World Monotheist religions, and they are considered among the most beautiful (if not the most beautiful) parks on Earth. Next stop is at Stella Maris, the Carmelite Monastery built above the cave where the Prophet Elijah was hiding from the rage of the idolaters and fed with a crow. Drive along the slopes of Mount Carmel, to see the center of the city, the German Colony. This 150 year old neighborhood was the first of many German Protestant settlements at the Holy Land, and it still looks like a part of the old Europe – carefully restored and bearing the signs and the names of the first German Settlers. From Haifa the tour continues to the beautiful and ancient port city of Akko (Acre), a World Heritage Site and well worth a visit. Walking around Akko's lively streets and alleyways, you'll see an amazing mix of Crusader ruins and underground Hospitaller Knights halls, beautiful Mosque and vibrant Arab market. Further on our rout will bring us to the Templar Order’ secret tunnel and to the ruins of the Templar’ Castle. From Akko our tour turns to the South and will lead us to Caesarea. UNESCO World Heritage Site of ancient Caesarea alone is worth a long travel. Caesarea’s historical and archeological park is one of Israel’s most impressive parks, housing unique excavations dating from various periods, spread over 2000 years of history. Visit a beautiful Roman Theater with over 3000 seats. Then, head to King Herod’ Palace, which used to serve Roman Procurators, Pontius Pilatus included. Tour Price excludes relevant entrance fees to the paid sites.
