We’ll first transfer you from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem to the King Hussein border crossing, driving in a comfortable car, with your luggage. Then you will cross the bridge to enter the Kingdom of Jordan. Our representative will meet you at the Jordanian border and will drive you to Amman.
Your journey continues in Amman, where a private guide and vehicle allow you to explore the city comfortably and flexibly. You might visit the Amman Citadel, perched on a hill with sweeping views over the capital, and walk through layers of history that span Roman, Byzantine, and early Islamic periods. Nearby, the Roman Theater brings ancient engineering to life, while drives through modern neighborhoods reveal Amman’s everyday rhythm, cafés, and markets. Because the tour is private, the guide can adapt the route to your interests, whether you’re drawn to history, culture, or local life.
After exploring Amman, you will spend a night at one of Amman’s nice hotels.
Early in the next morning, you’ll enjoy a private transfer south to Petra, traveling through Jordan’s changing landscapes—from urban hills to wide desert highways. The journey is relaxed and well-paced, with comfort stops as needed, letting you arrive refreshed and ready for discovery.
In Petra, a licensed local guide leads you through the legendary archaeological city. Entering through the narrow Siq, the anticipation builds until the dramatic reveal of the Treasury (Al-Khazneh). Your guided walk continues past royal tombs, temples, and colonnaded streets, with clear explanations of Nabataean history, architecture, and daily life. Having a guide helps bring Petra’s vast site into focus, highlighting details and stories you might otherwise miss, while still leaving time to explore and take photos.
Overall, this private experience combines comfort, expert insight, and flexibility—ideal for travelers who want a deeper, more personal introduction to Amman and Petra without the rush of large group tours.
Tour price is per person and includes professional guiding in Amman and Petra, one night at Amman Hotel (3 stars), all relevant entrance fees, and transport. Minimum -2 pax.
